This T-shirt was created in 1998 for the USA Unicycle Team that is going to UNICON IX.

History of this shirt:

I started thinking about this shirt in the fall of 1997. My original idea was to have the flag of Germany in the background like the USA flag is on this shirt, but when I did that, it didn't look like what I had expected so I replaced it with the USA flag.

The person on the shirt was taken off a photo from a past UNICON. I got rid of the background in Adobe Photoshop and then applied some filters to it to get this effect. I also applied a duotone to the image to give it more color. This T-shirt was compiled in CorelDRAW.

This shirt was originally designed to be on a black T-shirt, however, I was persuaded to change it to be a Navy shirt. A very limited number of black shirts were ordered, but the 'official' color is navy.

People who helped with the shirt:

This shirts concept and design is by Kevin Gilbertson. Colin Schworer also helped with some of the layout and overall look of the shirt.

How to get this shirt:

This shirt is for members of TeamUSA that went to UNICON IX held in Bottrop, Germany. The 'official' color of the shirt is navy. However, 15 black shirts were also printed. Please contact Gilby for more information about this shirt.
